A Sales and Marketing Events director by day and home cook by night, Trish has always love preparing food for the family and friends around her. As the independent lady she is, Trish moved to the States in 2018 for 2 years to support her fighter pilot husband when he was deployed for work in Arizona. While in the US, she got the chance to hone her cooking skills which gave her the confidence to cook confinement meals for new mothers as well as make cartoon bento boxes for kids when she got back to Singapore.
Following that, Trish also opens her own cooking school – D’open Kitchen – that caters to individuals that are interested in having a culinary experience leisurely or wider scale cooking team-building events. Now on Masterchef Season 2, Trish experiments with different ingredients and methods of cooking. Her experimentative nature fortunately did not go unnoticed as she is applauded with picturesque plating and a well-rounded Asian palate.
